It is expected that\u00a0applicants will seek additional funding through their university or employer. One applicant will be selected\u00a0each year to attend the conference. The bursary will be awarded by an adjudication committee formed by\u00a0the board of ICOM-Canada. <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><b>Eligibility<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The applicant must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident;<\/li>\n<li>A student enrolled in a graduate program in an accredited university (Canada or abroad) or an\u00a0emergent museum professional with less than 5 years of work experience. We welcome applications\u00a0from students in diverse disciplines addressing issues related to museology, including but not limited\u00a0to intercultural museology, museum and the Web, information technologies, collection management,\u00a0museum administration, intangible heritage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Frequency<\/b> <\/p>\n<p>Applicants may receive only one ICOM-Canada Travel bursary. <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><b>Application Process<\/b> <\/p>\n<p>Applications may be submitted in English or in French. All application materials should be completed in 12\u00a0point font with minimum 1\u201d page margins. Applications should include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> <a href=\"http:\/\/icom-canada.mini.icom.museum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/32\/2019\/01\/ICOM_CND_Form_Bourse_FINAL.pdf\" title=\"Opens external link in new window\">A completed application form<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>A brief (maximum two-page) curriculum vitae.<\/li>\n<li>A brief (maximum 250 words) statement of purpose. It should provide a brief overview of your\u00a0museological interests and professional aspirations.<\/li>\n<li>A budget, including estimates for conference registration, return economy transportation, accommodation in the most economical residence, $50 per diem rate to cover meals over the\u00a0duration of the conference.<\/li>\n<li>A letter of reference from a faculty supervisor or work supervisor.<\/li>\n<li>Proof of acceptance as a presenter on one of the international committees.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><b>Application Deadline<\/b> <\/p>\n<p>The deadline for applications for the current round\u00a0is May 5, 2017.\u00a0Applications should be emailed as a single attachment to Viviane Gosselin at vgosselin@museumofvancouver.ca. <\/p>\n<p>The successful applicant will be reimbursed for expenses upon submission of the following:\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Statement of expenses with appropriate receipts<\/li>\n<li>Two-page conference report which will be posted on the ICOM-Canada website<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Questions?
