An ICOM member who is familiar with the nominee&#8217;s achievements must make the nomination. <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h3>Deadline<\/h3>\n<p>November 15 each year.<\/p>\n<h3>Criteria<\/h3>\n<p>Each nominee must have done the following:<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u2022 Played a significant role in putting Canadian museums on the world stage.<br \/>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u2022 Developed and supported international cooperation, collaboration, and partnerships.<br \/>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u2022 Contributed to the expansion of links between Canadian and international museums.<br \/>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u2022 Fostered and promoted Canadian museology internationally. <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h3>Nomination Instructions<\/h3>\n<p>Complete the Nomination Form and attach the following:<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u2022 A letter of nomination signed by the nominator, max 2 pages.<br \/>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u2022 An explanation that clearly states how the nominee meets the criteria, max 3 pages.<br \/>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u2022 A curriculum vitae for the nominee.<br \/>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u2022 Six copies of any supporting material presenting the nominee&#8217;s international work. <\/p>\n<p>(Please note that the material will not be sent back). <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>For more information, download the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.museums.ca\/filestorage\/CMA_Awards_2009.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Complete Canadian Museums Association Awards Package<\/a> [PDF]. <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h3>Mail your nomination form to:<\/h3>\n<p>ICOM Canada AwardCanadian Museums Association280 Metcalfe Street, Suite 400Ottawa, Ontario K2P 1R7. <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h3>\u00a0<\/h3>\n<h3>Questions?
