ICOM Canada’s International Achievement Award
ICOM Canada’s International Achievement Award honours a Canadian museum professional or organization that has demonstrated and promoted excellence in Canadian museology on an international scale.
This award recognizes the outstanding contribution of knowledge and expertise towards the advancement and support of museology worldwide. The successful recipient is honoured at the CMA’s annual conference.

Gail and Barry Lord, Co-Presidents, Lord Cultural Resources
Gail and Barry Lord outstanding contribution of knowledge and expertise towards the advancement and support of museology worldwide was recognized. Lord Cultural Resources’ work on the international scene draws upon a rich history of cultural commitment in order to surpass it.
