In 2012, International Museum Day will be held around May 18. Every museum in Canada will be invited to create a special event reflecting this year’s theme of Museums in a Changing World: New Challenges, New Inspirations.

Every year since 1977, International Museum Day is held worldwide sometime around 18 May. From America and Oceania to Europe, Asia and Africa, International Museum Day aims to increase public awareness of the role of museums in developing society. Find out more »
